News & Notes

It’s impossible to put the best version of yourself out into the universe if you’re already starting at a disadvantage. Make sleep a priority and see the health benefits that affect your overall wellbeing.

The AHEF has opened the annual grant application process for the 2021-22 school year. The annual grants tend to be larger in size and are awarded in the Spring so that teachers and staff can integrate their grant project into the following school year’s planning. Given the unique challenges of distance and hybrid learning, and now with students returning to classrooms, the need for additional resources to close opportunity gaps seems greater than ever.

“Our generous donors make these grants possible and for them we are extremely grateful,” said Tess DeGeest, executive director of AHEF.

The grant guidelines and application are available here. Applications close on April 2, 2021 for implementation in the 2021-22 school year.
