AHEF: Thank you to this year’s employee giving campaign donors and building and site volunteers

This year’s employee giving campaign is done and the results are being tallied.

Preliminary, anecdotal results suggest our employees continue to be just as generous financially as they are with their time and talent.

Tess DeGeest, executive director for the Anoka-Hennepin Educational Foundation (AHEF) and campaign manager said, "During these exceedingly challenging times for students, teachers, staff, families and communities, it is so wonderful to feel the generosity. “On behalf of all of the charities — our Educational Foundation, Minnesota Environmental Fund and Greater Twin Cities United Way — thank you for your generous financial support.”

In addition to thanking donors, DeGeest extends gratitude to our building and site coordinators for their leadership in the campaign. Some coordinators raffled prizes, others offered to bring in treats, while others spoke to colleagues at meetings about the many ways in which donations make a difference in our schools and communities. Please take the time to thank your building’s campaign coordinator for making our community stronger by rallying the flag on behalf of our nonprofits.

Each building and site’s coordinator is listed below. Also greatly appreciated are Kerry Hommes, Marne Groebner, Carolyn Ballstadt, and Mary Schulz, in the ESC who helped gather pledge forms.
