Fundraising events overview

The Foundation hosts two fundraising events and conducts several campaigns throughout the year. Please see each below for more details on how you can get involved and donate to the educational cause most important to you.

Northern Stars Celebration

The Educational Foundation’s annual Northern Stars Celebration is typically a smashing success - raising thousands of dollars for our kids. The gala-style event provides a fun way to celebrate quality education, with silent and live auctions, live entertainment and tasty food. In recent years, sponsors and donors have generously given to benefit Anoka-Hennepin students and support the ongoing work of the Foundation.

Watch for registration for our next Northern Stars Celebration to open in December.

"Putt-ing Kids First" golf tournament

The Anoka-Hennepin Educational Foundation's "Putt-ing Kids First" annual golf tournament grows bigger and more successful every year thanks to our sponsors, golfers and volunteers.

The tournament, which is a long-standing tradition — the 2024 event was the 65th annual — funds grants for early childhood education, talent development, and career and college readiness for students, among other things.

Watch our website for registration and updates on our next best ball scramble golf tournament in May of each year. The tournament is always held the first Saturday after Labor Day at the Green Haven Golf Course in Anoka, MN.
